About us
Sund Safety was founded by Bjarte Søvik in the autumn of 2008 and subsequently in November 2008 became registered through Firmahjelp as a Norwegian NUF company in the UK. The company then registered itself in the official business register at Brønnøysund in Norway December 2008.
Sund Safety is a supplier of services in Quality Assurance, Emergency preparedness/response units, Security/Guard services, Personnel training within the oil and gas industry both Offshore and on main land facilities.
We have qualified personnel to produce and sign off safety documentation in connection with gas measurement in tanks prior to work permit approval on oil and gas installations. Sund Safety is in accordance with Arbeidstilsynets criteria (regulation nr 114 `Arbeid i tanker`) and our employees have undertaken their training (5 day course) and written exam at Teknologisk Institutt Sandsli in Bergen (Norway).
Employees at Sund Safety hold valid Offshore paperwork and documentation (Basic Safety and Emergency Training).
Sund Safety is a member of the Achilles Joint Qualification System with membership ID: 27945
Sund Safety is accredited by Det Norske Veritas for the following two certificates: ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
